Wolf Alice guitarist Joff Oddie has issued a press release relating to his ongoing absence from the band’s current North American tour.
The London group kicked off their newest run of headline dates final month in help of their third studio album, final yr’s acclaimed ‘Blue Weekend’.
As many followers identified on social media, Oddie has been changed by a stand-in guitarist at all the exhibits on the tour to date. Tonight (April 7) Wolf Alice took to Twitter to publish “a message from Joff” wherein he defined why he’s briefly lacking from the line-up.
“I’m sorry I’ve been late in getting in contact with you all,” his assertion started. “I can guarantee you all that I’m superb and thank those that have expressed concern.
“Over the past hand stuffed with weeks I’ve been at house in Cornwall spending time with a liked one who has been unwell. Household at all times comes first and I’d prefer to thank my band mates and those that I work with for supporting me throughout this time.”
Oddie continued: “I hope to be again as quickly as attainable enjoying the songs I really like with my bros. Lacking you all and looking out ahead to seeing you all on the market once more quickly. All my love, Joff x.”

Wolf Alice’s present tour of North America is because of resume in Des Moines, Iowa tomorrow (April 8) forward of concert events in Lincoln, St. Louis, Austin, Dallas and different cities till the center of this month.

Wolf Alice are set to return to the UK this summer season for stay appearances and Reading & Leeds and Glastonbury this summer season.
Again in February, Wolf Alice took home the Best Group statue at the BRIT Awards 2022. Accepting the gong, bassist Theo Ellis stated the victory was “completely unbelievable”, including: “I feel we’re fairly shocked.”
